Third grade has been busy busy lately! They recently had a living history museum where students dressed as a famous person such as: Martin Luther King Jr., Rosa Parks, Charles Barkley, Helen Keller and Walt Disney. Each child presented information to all of their museum visitors such as faculty, parents and special parents. The students were eager to share the important roles that each of their famous people played during their time in history.
Currently, their students are writing persuasive essays to Krispy Kreme! Students will include information about doughnut flavors and decoration. They will design a new type of doughnut, write about why their doughnut is the best, make the doughnut, and then present it to the class. Each child will then be allowed to vote for their favorite presentation. On Wednesday, the top winners from each class will be allowed to present their doughnut speech and doughnut to the Managers from Krispy Kreme Doughnuts. Good Luck 3rd graders!
