Thanks to Mrs. Ingleright for hosting another great year of Science Camp for our 3rd graders!

Each year our school partners with The University of Alabama at Tuscaloosa to guide our students in fun, exploratory, hands-on science that really stretches the problem-solving skills of our students.  Twenty-five college students preparing to be teachers lead sessions for our kiddos to enjoy for two days.  This year was terrific!  Our kids had a blast and learned a lot!

(Ask a third grader you know about the baby alligators we saw today!)

Go Gwin Robotics!

Thank you again to Ms. Feagin and Mrs. Spurrier for sponsoring our Gwin Robotics team for the 3rd year!  Our students are really growing as problem-solvers and it shows!

Congratulations to the Gwin C.I.A. (Coders in Action) for placing 2nd in the beginners division in the competition last Saturday!

Pictures of our teams may be seen on the Gwin Facebook page.

Lost & Found

It is time again to gather all of the items in our Lost & Found and donate them to a local charity.  If you are missing clothing, lunch boxes, or other items that may have been collected and placed in our Lost & Found, please come to Gwin to look for and retrieve these items.  All Lost & Found items will be donated after TODAY.
