We are so excited to be hosting our annual Spring Fling at Gwin TOMORROW, April 29th!  Our PTO has fun activities planned for our families and community members to enjoy!

Due to recent changes in our district policies related to bounce houses and rides at school events, we have changed our Spring Fling to include lots of new fun options! There will be food trucks and sodas to purchase as well as a games, a movie, & popcorn that the whole family can enjoy for free with the purchase of a $5 wristband!  There are wonderful items in the silent auction and more!

Also, this year we will have a GES Dodgeball Tournament for KIDS starting at 5pm!  Please see the sign-up sheet attached to register your teams.  There will be prizes for the winning teams and...loads of FUN!

Wristbands may be purchased at the event and participants can join-in on dodgeball when they arrive!

Can’t wait to see you there!!!

As part of a grant that our school received, our students were able to  participate in a smoothie taste test on Thursday!  Ask your child about the delicious smoothies and mango they were encouraged to try here in our cafeteria!

Best of Luck!

Congratulations to Dr. Erica Farnham, one of our PE teachers!  She has accepted a job as the assistant principal at Maplesville High School in Chilton County Schools.  Her last day was today.  We wish her the best and welcome Mr. Walt Simpson as coach for the remainder for the year!

Enrollment & Kick-Off

May 18th 4-6pm

This year, our kindergarten teachers ask that you bring your rising kindergarteners to Gwin when you enroll them for the 2017-2018 school year.  The children will participate in games and activities in the kindergarten classrooms while the teachers take a few minutes to get to know them.  This is an informal period and you are welcome to simply arrive at a time that is convenient for you and we will be able to accommodate your child in the classroom then!
